I'm Bob Gall and this is a little about who I am.
I fell in love with photography over 40 years ago. When I went to high school I was taught film processing and photo printing and became one of my school's principal photographers; taking pictures of our sports teams and just about anything that our school paper or year book needed. And I've been taking photos ever since, sometimes seriously but always for fun.
I like photography for two reasons. First, it requires us to focus on a unique moment or image. And I love capturing the moment and the image. Second, I find photography endlessly challenging. No matter how many pictures I take I always feel like I've learned something in the process.
In my portfolio you will see that I am also a food photographer. Nearly all of this work is for the blog sauceandsensibility.com. This is my wife's creation and I am glad to be a part of it. I enjoy making her food look as great as it is, and I believe I can do the same for other food and dining related businesses.
I started taking sports photos, ...again, as my sons began playing sports. Over time I began offering these photos to other teams playing in the same places or tournaments as my sons'. Today I continue to photograph youth sports, mostly because I appreciate the purity of the games at this level. Its when kids are still playing because of their love of the sport and the exhilaration of competing. I feel honored to take pictures that reflect these great moments.
I was the principal photographer for a Central Florida a semi monthly paper focused on high school sports. Currently I am a contracted photographer for Lake Highland Preparatory School. I do team photos, individual athlete photos, large format banners, and of course competition and event photos. I would enjoy discussing any new projects or assignments.
